The geology around the Butt of Lewis is fascinating, the drops are scary!

I got hooked to visit the Hebs after viewing the brilliant BBC series of “Islands on The Edge” narrated by Ewan McGregor.

My only disappointment of our 2013 trip was, I couldn’t book a trip to St Kilda, due to sea state 🥲

Lewis and especially Harris are stunning. The Golden road on Harris is my favourite stretch of narrow tarmac.
