Clutch/ France

I ran over a lump of wood day before pedal went down (didn't see it) and the rad leak might have been the outcome of that as the water level was between min and max.tiny hole close to seam on bottom corner
If that's a 2013 x250, leaking rad on bottom corner is quite common around that age of van.

Slave cylinder.. though I wasn't going to not put a clutch in it while the gearbox was out...

Google translate worked well until their receptionist came in ....what a bonus as she spoke English. She thanked me for letting her practice it....I didn't need thanking I can tell you.

It's in a very full large workshop....
The radiator leak is very common on the X250. My 2007 vehicle had the radiator replaced about 5 years ago...

Got the same now on our van, going to sort it when we get back home, didn’t notice it till we were away, I have to top it up a little every 300km

As things go what you are being charged is probably not too bad. A few years ago I had a crankshaft pulley replaced on my Transit whilst crossing Belgium, that cost me over £500 at Ford dealership, they were very accommodating as we were allowed with our dog into the showroom with free coffee.

Good you are on the treadmill again, clutch on my van will soon need doing, another job for poor old me. 😂

You will feel a big improvement I bet ,glad your mobile and I think they sound like a good professional company
As

for the company, they are a very large Renault commercial main dealer.

Right then don't laugh

950kms later.....no power, no water.....
Back on a breakdown truck in italy...
He must have been following us as he was there in 10 mins...
The top connector sleeve or 90 degree bend as I would call it was the wrong angle....they sent for new one along with the flexi pipe at 10 am and at 1630 hrs we had left..all done except another 350 euro for labour and parts...breakdown/hotel covered by the AA.
Ours is supposed to be 90 degrees.and as you see this isn't and that's why it's gone out of shape...
Anyway at the bottom of italy now debating about a ferry from Bari
