Has anyone found a good way to do this?

Product and technique tips are all welcome.

It’s very time consuming but I get my other half to stand outside the van holding a thin plastic chopping board against the mesh and I use a damp cloth with hot water fairy liquid with a drop of bleach added, him holding the board means I can put a bit of pressure on the net without damaging it.

I remove the blind/flyscreen unit and use a laundry brush with liquid soap and water with something flat behind the flyscreen, then use the shower to rinse it off.

Unfortunately mine are the window screens and I don't think I could pop them off like that.

Oh I think I have the same trouble as you, Jo001. I have only recently bought my motorhome - left standing for 2 years with no use and needs a really good clean! If I find a solution I will let you know.

I think the best approach is to look at the problem the other way round. Instead of thinking about what you are removing the dirt from, think about what dirt you are removing.

If it is dust from human skin cells (house dust) or blanket or carpet fluff, hoovering with a brush end nozzle should work.

If it is a layer of grease from cooking near the window, you'll need to spray it with IPA and wipe with kitchen roll.

If it is tobacco staining, your best bet is to buy a new blind, but spraying with IPA and white vinegar mixed night help.

I'm afraid I've no idea what it is. The blind rolls up in its casing, and it's like a vertical line of little marks where something must have got caught in it.
