Citroen Relay wing mirror problem.

My Wildax Solaris driver's side mirror (electrically operated) has started to open and close in the wrong place.

It opens beyond the correct position to get a satisfactory rear view and does not close sufficiently.

It looks as if the amount of movement is correct, it just stops on the wrong place. Passenger's side mirror works perfectly.

Can suggest a way of resetting it.

I shall study it carefully.
 
Can you manually push in a powerfold mirror? without breaking it . what would you do when the helpful (not) ferry loader pushes in your folding mirror as you pass by🫢.
 
If I remember correctly, I rebuilt the wing mirror in the fully open position. After I'd refit it, I opened and closed it a few times, then adjusted the mirrors.
 
on my electric mirror, you can, using the flat or your hand to spread the load put the mirror anywhere you like, you also have to make sure the arm is in the right place too, there doesn't feel to be a proper detent or anything to be exact.
