Just ate Churrasco de Ternera - beef, but which part of cow is it. Looked a bit like chops with a bone running through it, tasty - but tough and very fatty. When I put in translate said steak lol

Beef Steak. Could be from any part of that constitutes the term steak. But to identify the particular dish you ate you'd need further description.

I'd forgotten I'd posted this. All I remember now is - more like stew meat that had been grilled - tough as old boot leather. Certainly the wrong way to cook whatever it was. An experience not to be repeated.

Could well be an old boot, and the bit you thought was a lump of old hoof, was probably the Cuban heel off a flamenco dancers stomper. I reckon you had the 10€ menu, just count yourself lucky you didn't order the 5€ chefs special!

From memory ternera means a young cow (veal) so if it was tough was not cooked properly and churrasco just means barbecue
