Chip fat oil and my diesel heater

Just wondering if anyones came across this problem, im Converting an old fiat ambulance it has an inbuilt diesel heater that runs off the tank .Anyone had any experience with using veg oil in the same tank as my heater ( i can get unlimited supply from work ). thanks in advance

i asume the heater you are talking about is the rear interior heater .erbaspacher or similer type . if so i havent heared of anybody running a heater on veg oil and mabey it will be too thick for the pump and burner to handle .as for your van engine if the engine is a common rail then its a no no for veg oil Ford Transit Forum • View topic - Will an Eberspacher D5W work on diesel/veg oil, 40-60? this may help
