They don’t seem to hold a lot of stock near us in mid devon and pre-ordering is necessary. I have ordered similar and can collect from Friday. (They’re big panels!)

I've got 2 of the 425W versions H which are in the same size frames.

I've not fitted them yet but have made a profile up and the 2 of them will more or less completely fill the roof of my LWB Renault Master PVC so bear in mind the position of any other roof fittings you may have.

As Chris said, they don't hold a lot of stock (or it goes quickly) I had the last 2 425W panels from their Peterborough store. I don't think you can go far wrong at the price though, they're no back street outfit, Longi are the biggest producers of solar panels in the world.

Your panels will be every bit as good as mine, or the grossly overpriced Truma panels Rob. Why anyone pays this kind of money eludes me. My dealer charges £700 for one Truma 100w panel, c/w a cheap solar controller, and with pre wiring in place.
I currently have four panels, a victron 100/30 controller, and I spent around £400.
But these larger panels you are fitting will require a larger controller, and mechanical fixings.

Victron 100/50 will suffice Bill. I was going to have 2 mppt's one for each panel but it's not necessary.

The panels weigh 20kg each so I'm mounting them on 2 full lengths of Unistrut (Bolted and Sikaflex'd) supplemented by some aluminium angle across the front, again Sikaflex'd and bolted.

Just fitted two of them to Tompas roof Rob and yes fhey are big lol

REmember you are bonding to a thin layer of paint, not a good idea in my books, if you must i would strip paint back to steel then bond.

Both our panels have a leading edge wind deflector which I think are essential. There is a lot of area to collect lift there.

Your panel looks higher than normal.
Normally I don’t reckon wind deflectors are required, especially for panels up to 120w.
When you look at the shape of a PVC at the front, most of the air will rise well above the roof ensuring a lower drag coefficient, and better fuel economy.
But even though I have a lot of faith in the adhesive I used, (sikaflex 554) I would have used mechanical fitting for panels that size. The consequences of a solar panel coming of a roof could be serious. But that’s just my opinion.
