Hey forum, just wondering if anyone has done or has any advice on what I am looking to do.

I would like to take the two front seats in my MK7 transit jumbo, remove them and replace them with two front seats that are road legal and can be folded back into a bed.

I have looked at rock n roll beds but struggling a bit tbh to get something that will fit the area.

I surely cannot be the first person who has wanted to do this? Any ideas or guidance much appreciated.

Cheers

There are some models that do this, some of the VW Transporter layout have this. Be aware thou that the most comfortable drivers seats don't make the best of beds, and vice versa.

If it’s just a single bed you’re after I saw a good solution when looking at new vans, it was like a bunk arrangement that attached to the headrests for stability and looked pretty comfy, with all the knowledge on here someone will know more about it or who makes it.

Hand brake and steering wheel. Plus blinds for cab . No. not for me. Temp,.bed into sliding door opening, maybe

Best seat for van is a drivers seat especially when stuck in traffic and or jams for long times

You can get an 'upstairs' bedroom above the Cab. It wold mean fitting it and cutting a hole in the Cab roof of course.

at hereford one of our you tube members had children along in a panel van one child slept on a bed frame fitted to both seats with a matress over
