Canterbury park n ride

Horses for Courses

Another overnight stop we have used at Dover is DOVER PATROL where there is a monument to the Dover Patrol boats from the war, don't mention the war hee hee on a clear day you can see France , the ferry port is a short drive away, the road in to Dover Patrol Monument is a bit bumpy.

We are lucky in that we cam get to Dover/Folkestone in 2 hours so can get a sensibly timed and priced ferry or train to Calais.
We could easily drive a good way before camping but we stay here.........Accueil. Less than 30 mins from Calais little Bar/Bistro on-site (not always open)
Very friendly owners and locals

For those coming from ( a lot ) further afield it seems to me to be better to have a relaxing no time pressure drive by staying At Canterbury or the like!

Parked at Canterbury p&r at the moment. Around 15 vans here. Still room for a few more. Easy & only £3!. Dover crossing 2moro morning, south of France & Spain here we come!

Staying France Jim,at champagne region just now

We did 2 aires in that region and both are good.

Bogny-Sur-Meuse with probably the best bread in the boulangerie on the corner as you turn in of the whole 4 weeks we was over there.

Avize at the side of the Mairie, the quietest most peaceful night we`ve ever had in the 15 years we`ve been motorhoming.

Hope your having a good one
