can enyone help ford transit auto sleeper

we have a M reg 95 Lwb Transit . it came with the spare bolted to a bracket on the rear door. Its handy having it there but I've no idea where it would normally be mounted underneath

they normaly fit under the rear of the van ,you will notice a hole in the rear valence just above the bumper . and the spare is hung in a bracket that is suspended from a wire that winds up and down with a handle supplied with the van .the bracket on the end of the wire fits through the center hole in the steel wheel and the stud fitted in the bracket fits through one of the holes in the wheel with a wing nut to fasten it all together . the problem with the alloy wheel is the hole in the center of the wheel is too small for the bracket to fit through . there may be a replacement spare wheel carier available from ford if not try to get one from a breakers that specialises in ford. the ford torneo was fitted as standard with alloys as were many minibus versions .
 
took a picture of mine for you, good job I did the tyre wall is cracked. Time for a new tyre.

I looked under my LWB and the previous owner has fitted a box for 2x propane bottles under the floor where the spare wheel would normally fit. The spare wheel is now bolted to the rear door .
