Hi all, just wondered if anyone knows of a campsite/place to camp in or around London with good access to central London. Its in October and will need to stay for approx x4 days.

We've stopped at CAMC site at Abbey Wood, walking distance to train station. It will be expensive if not a member but convenient

Wherever you select do the LEZ / ULEZ chcks on the location and your MoHo.

Not sure about the requirements for the LEZ now but the ULEZ only accepts Euro 6 diesel or Euro 4 and above petrol engines.

LEZ is diesel Euro 4.

You can use LEZ or ULEZ in any vehicle, just costs upto £100 per day.

In October 2021 the ULEZ will increase significantly.

The £100 per day is not so bad, its if you get caught and fined

We stayed there a couple of years ago. Short walk to the station for a train into central London, and much quieter there than you would expect.
Very expensive though, saw an ad for the site last week saying it was from £42 per night.

I have parked several times on Ranelagh Drive, Richmond. It's a quite wide road alongside the river
