12v heated car seat fleece a cheaper option, can be used in the van, and even runs off a Jackery or similar. Can be used at home of course if you want to keep your heating bill down:-

I used to fish for Pike in winter.
I had long johns and two layers of clothing, and a one piece thermal suit.
Even my wellies were insulated, I still have them.
I used to have two charcoal hand warmers in each hip pocket.
They lasted about 8 hours.

And guess what, after about an hour it was Baltic.🥶🥶

Likewise Bill. I used to wear similar gear for Pike fishing as well as a petrol fuelled handwarmer and yes it was bloody cold.

The handwarmer was great though, especially after handling wet line and lures.
