Campers blamed for heron soaked in chip fat

I have no problem with people getting pissed or eating what they like Tim as long as they don't bother other people (I know they often do!).

But it's the state they leave the place in that's important.

Absolutely true, I'm guilty of getting caught up in the media finger pointing game assuming they arrive with disposable tents etc. and just leave everything behind when the fun is finished. I have no problem with what anybody does either but it seems responsible is not in their vocabulary.
Point taken and well made.

A brick a bolt an nut a spanner always fall in a downward manner 😊
Sir Issac Newton tells us why
An apple falls down from the sky;
And from this fact it's very plain
All other objects do the same.
A brick, a bolt, a bar, a cup,
Invariably fall down not up.
And every common working tool
Is governed by the self-same rule.
If at work you drop a spanner
It travels in a downward manner;
A fifth of accidents or more
Illustrate old Newtons law.
But one thing he forgot to add;
The damage won't be half as bad
If you are wearing special clothes,
Especially on your head and toes.
So best foot forward and take care
About the kind of shoes you wear;
It's better to be sure than dead,
So get a hat and keep your head.
Don't think to go without is brave;
The affects of gravity can be grave.

Oil from ships is washed off birds all the time, so probably couldn't be bothered or a made up story.

Yep a ship a we bit back on news was caught cleaning its tanks out close to shore rather than discharge at a port where it can be taken away.

Something wrong here.The bird is described as a baby heron.A baby heron would be in the nest.

This from the Courier newspaper -

Now, in fairness she suggests the chip fat was left by campers rather than motorhome users, but just how does she think they got the oil hot enough to cook chips?
easy peasy this one..........calor gas burner and pan............. same way thas boils a kettle.........cup o coffee anyone xx

Yes, like I said earlier I didn't think that would get it hot enough but apparently there are some folks that do do this.
