Cameron McNeish on European Aires

One point Cameron has omitted, possibly because he does not know, France only that I know of, some supermarkets allow MH parking, eg, Carrefour @ Berck Sur Mer, Super U at La Roche Posay. While maybe not everyone glass of vino, if anyone struggling to find an aire, the supermarkets are another option.

Not sure which supermarket chains within UK offer the same?

We used an other app and a Super U was down as aire Terry.

A search only threw this one up though, and not the ne we stayed at.

It looks like pubs restaurants and other private businesses here are starting to take the slack. Using the nut and seeing a good business opportunity especially in England some have even started putting in water and waste facilities. Campsite owners will need to move with the times or there’s gonna be a lot that will go to the wall. Seen it in Holland quite a bit campsites have a separate area for motorhomes at a reduced rate from the main site.

I wouldn't park in a big supermarket car park. If you can't find a proper Aire then in France you may park up in any public car park, small villages are the best.
Try that in England- very few.
