That's a huge amount to be dealing with all at once Cal and a bad Estate Agent is one of the lowest forms of life, we've been there!

Of course your daughter's and grandson's health is the priority at the moment (stating the obvious!) so I hope things improve quickly. And the dog as well - great shame but you did the right thing.

Wow! I don't blame you for concentrating on the issues you have to deal with. Take your time and best wishes to you all.

Didn’t know about the dog cal, really sorry to hear that to.
Taking your dog to the vet for the last time has got to be one of the hardest things you have to do. No matter how much you tell yourself it was the only option, it’s still a hard pill to swallow. And on top of all the other things that must have been the last thing you needed at these trying times for you and your family. I have a wee inkling that 2024 will be a better year, and you will get back on track.
Enjoy your first Christmas with the new wee yin, it’s sure to be special, no matter where it’s held.

Great to see you back Cal. Bill hinted that you were having some trials and tribulations but didn't say what.
House buying and selling has become an absolute nightmare. Estate agents and solicitors just leave human debris in their wake. For them it is about how much they can take, financially and emotionally. Been there mate you have my deepest sympathy. Likewise with your beloved dog, your constant companion and best friend. Been there too. It is heartbreaking.
Hope all goes well with the family and of course the move. Have a wonderful happy Christmas and a peaceful new year.

Sorry to hear about your troubles cal,dog we had the same still miss the wee bugger,family issues I can relate and sympathise also all I can say is it takes time ( slowly I hasten to say)
but anyways 2024 beckons and hope we can all get a better year aheadtake care mate

Thanks folks. To be fair our issues are trivial compared to what some are dealing with these days but when they all arrive at once it can be daunting.
We’re looking forward not back so hopefully be back to wellies and wood burners soon. And a new camper
