Calais to the Somme stopover

Hi folks, I've just booked our Chunnel trip to Calais for the 20th and we are heading to Albert on the Somme to dig up some relatives, so can anyone suggest an overnight stopover en route please. Due to certain problems I can really only drive for a couple of hours maybe a tad over. We've been many times and know of places to stop whilst we are there but recent complications have kinda clipped my wings so to speak. Then we are working our way over to Normandy for the 6th of June and then over to the Mayenne.
So it's just the first day stop over that I'm after

We often use this stop, it’s a very nice little town, and a nice walk around the walls if you are up to it,
We usually use as a last stop on our way home

I've used the Aire at Doulens (N50 degrees09.238' E002 degrees 20.535') Alternatively the Aire at Arras Commercial Aire (N50 degrees 17.847' E002 degrees 46.544') anybody know the ASCII code for the degrees symbol?

I don't think you are allowed to just go and " dig up" even if they are family!!
