We finally got to Cadiz by the ferry and had a great day, walked our feet off saw lots of sites, and sounds, super ferry trip there and back.

Yes ferries run Sundays but different time table to week days still frequent though 2.75 euros each way. return tickets no cheaper and you have to book a specific return time. no good if you change your plan so buy single tickets at each departure, strangely CC no problem at Santa Maria for 5.50euros 2 tickets but in Cadiz had to be minimum spend 10 euros so I had to buy 4 tickets there 2 for our friend's and he bought the beers hee.

We parked up in a central car park near the port with WC facilities for €7 for 24 hours parking. A special rate for campers and motorhomes. You have to see the attendant in the office for this deal, not use the ticket machine.

We have been in Cadiz for Carnaval twice - amazing experience but if you want any sleep I recommend staying in the aire on the El Puerto de Santa Maria side and getting the ferry back and forth
