regulators for butane/propane

I've been reading through this thread (sorry it was another post I was reading ) after trying to operate my propex heater the other day and finding it didn't work because of frozen butane !
Looks like I will be getting a propane bottle and regulator so I looked at the specs for my Propex heater and Electrolux fridge. The fridge says propane should be at 30mbr and the heater says 37mbr. How critical is the pressure as it is obviously getting to be an issue if there has to be separate regulators for each appliance not to mention the three burner hob which may even turn out to be different to the other two !!
Any advice would be welcome based on the assumtion that I will be getting propane for winter use. The locker is only big enough for one 4.5kg bottle.

It's not that critical, both appliances should work fine at either 30 or 37mB

I agree with AndyC.

My German Motorhome runs on a 50mbar regulator yet the fridge fitted by Hymer from new was marked as 30mbar by Electrolux. I also have a Truma heater rated at 30mbar and a Gas generator also 30mbar rated. All work fine on 50mbar propane or butane. I now run Autogas.

Merry Christmas to everyone.

And I run the opposite to John.

Mine was originally 50 mbar but I now run at either 30 or 37 mbar, depending which bottle I am on (Alugas refillable and standard non-refillable).

butane or propane

my thetford fridge freezer instruction booklet says only use propane, and the supplying dealer said the same but more emphatically (don't use butane).

i don't know wheather that is correct but i took his advice and only use propane.
