Bushfires, Northern Portugal.

There are currently only 6 fires, north of Lisbon, reported on www.fogos.pt.
They are smaller and more isolated, than the weekend.
I would imagine it's much the same in Spain.
Local nformation is available online.
Fewer fires mean more resources to fight them.

Only 4 bush fires in the whole of Portugal, this morning

All separate and north of Lisbon.
Just local TV making a drama to keep us watching the adverts.

Very sorry to hear about the bush fires. I had been thinking about the poor folks on holiday in Spain as well.

The fires are mainly in the remote , wooded, mountain sides, difficult to access.

Far away from the main roads and tourist resorts.
But there can be smoke hazards if the winds change, as they frequently do.
