We're currently in northern Portugal, VERY hot but no sign of wildfires.

Only one showing atm, near Vila Rea, but it is early and the "clear up" after the storms has left a lot of debris still to be removed. Many fallen trees still by the roads and hard to clear .... We had to leave a cork oak stump and logs quite near our property as too heavy to move and chainsaw was too small to cut them through.
Hopefully, the reservoirs will still hold plenty of water to control any fires .

It's just the start of the season.
The few fires are relatively small and easily put out.
There's one between Viseu and Braga.
The planes and helicopters can quickly get to them, dropping water.
Later, the reservoirs loose depth and the fire brigade is stretched.
