bulb for dometic fridge

Hi, have been trying to get a bulb for the interior of my fridge, dometic tell me its unavailable but I can buy a new light for £30 anyone know where I can get hold of a bulb for a rm7401L as reluctant to buy a light assy when I only need a bulb.

It's a 12V 5W bulb, Dometic part number EL10294D, but I'm sure if you take the old bulb to a car parts dealer they'll have a suitable replacement. The price you were quoted is probably for the new LED type lamp unit.

Seem to remember doing this by buying a bog standard car bulb (check voltage and wattage) and then extending the contacts by soldering on an extra bit of wire.:rolleyes2::rolleyes2::rolleyes2:
