Broken microswitch in tap!

Well, our water stopped coming out of the tap. Cold water only going to a submersible 12v Comet pump in container. I, stupidly, thought I would " have a go" ....The tap clicked when turned on but nothing happened so had already ordered a replacement pump as it would be sense to have a spare anyway. However, I decided to look at the microswitch and took the end off the tap exposing it. It all looked ok, made contact when turned on, but when I put the tap back together, I broke the switch  ( no longer clicks and when taken apart, the contact wire bit are gone!) so now that will definitely need replacing whereas it was probably only the pump before I "fiddled"! My question is, how do I identify the tap and get replacement or do I have replace the whole tap? It was converted by a company but not there now so can't go back to them. Any ideas from you clever people would be appreciated.

look at microswitches on ebay or amazon get one the same . or change to a pressurized system [not too hard or expensive]

Can't work out what I am looking at, they all look different? Think a pressurised system is overkill...our two containers hold about 13L each!

Have a lookie at - Travel Trolls on you tube one of their lastest vlogs as they had exactlty the same problem & now fixed ,,, 👍

Post a picture of your tap and the switch Ruth, someone will recognise it
For some reason I didn't get notification of replies so only just seen them!
Will do it in morning....definitely not the Reich one! Have the horrible feeling it is one which the microswitch is built in. Looks like a comet Arona but will look again in the morning.

Think it might be a comet as that was the pump make also.to get to the microswitch I pulled off the lever, but the internal metal bit broke when i replaced the lever
No manufacturers name visible.

This does look like it as you said, I can't find a microswitch for sale for it but you should be able to match the microswitch using Google
