Bristol City centre?

Dear all,

In a moment of madness we agreed to join our daughter in doing the Bristol Half marathon this coming Sunday. I see there are a couple of carparks listed as POI's a short walk (or hobble) from the finish which is pretty much in the centre of Bristol. Can anyone comment if they are still OK please? We don't mind paying if there are more expensive alternatives.

They have the ozone tariff things I would check. You can park on the downs and catch buses into town (thats what we used to do)

That panicked me for a moment. It appears this doesn't come in until the 22 November which is good. Thanks for the suggestion which we can use as a fall-back. We expect walking to be very difficult after the run so prefer to get as close as possible even if its an ugly car park.
