Breakdown Covet

Brittannia Rescue coming in at £152, anyone had experiences of them?
I'm with Brittania, not used them so cant say what happens if you claim.
I went with them after doing a comparison online for the car and they did an introductory offer of uprating to personal cover for Kim and myself at no extra cost so effectively the van gets covered (or any other car for that matter) as long as either of us is in it. I checked with them about weight and size and all OK. I renewed again earlier this year and still got the personal cover which was a surprise. About £60 IFRC? Dont think it covers Europe for that though.

I'm currently with Green Flag for my 2012 Puegeot Elddiss Autoquest 100, Boxer 330 swb breakdown cover. My renewal is £263 which includes European cover. I will definitely be travelling to Republic of Ireland but mainland Europe almost definitely not. I find it a bit too stressful having a slight visual imparement. Any help on getting cost of cover dowm would be much appreciated.
My experience of Green Flag has been good. Then I had cover for "free" from Nationwide Flex Plus. That was provided by Green Flag anyway. Just as good. Then Nationwide switched to AA for the UK service.
AA are pretty good at roadside repairs, but are definitely not geared up for recovering motorhomes. They have to find outside contractors which can literally take days.
At £18 per month for UK and European cover, it is reasonable value, and if it is a joint account, both account holders are covered at no extra cost.
