Before I start tearing my Fiat Ducatto /Eldiss motor home to pieces (bless her ) can anyone tell me if you change the brake light bulb from inside after removing the panels or do you take of the lens cover from the outside ?

Thank you in advance fellow wilders I knoow someone will know !!

Hi,
Don't know what model/year Motorhome you have, but if a couple of screws are showing on the lens, then the bulbs are likely to be accessed from the outside.
A photo of the lens may help.

Happy Camping:)

As pioneer say,s
you will find that access to the bulbs will be from the outside unlike some of the modern cars where as you have to release the unit from the inside. Just undo the screws from around the lens then you will find ether a twist off bulb holder or if a newer model either screws or plastic release clips top and bottom to release the bulb holder .
Hope this helps.

Those fitted with Hela lamp units have 4 self taping screws on the outside, then theres a couple of screws holding the bulb holder strip to the back of the lamp/lens unit. These suffer from corrosion so when you do remove it give it a good attack of spray grease!

my old girl is an h reg she is twenty years old ! Thanks for the help guys
