Bolonia - Spains best kept secret???

hesitated before I wrote this as got a feeling will be inundated with replies from people saying -fancy you not knowing about it- but for those of you who don't it is just along the coast from Tarifa along the costa da Luz and in my 'humble' opinion it is goregous. A huge wide beach of golden sands, surrounded by cork forests, sand dunes oh and a ruined Roman city.
Little town, hardly anyone around during the week- different story at the weekend and hate to think what it will be like in high summer but for now its just fab. No wild camping- very strict as its all a nature park but there is a fenced in privately owned field - no facilities, supposed to cost 5 es a night but Ive been here three nights altogether and no ones been round - in the morning just drive up the road to a park spot overlooking the beach.... gosh lifes hard. Oh, and its about 30deg today - sorry all!

Thanks Jane. I've never heard of Bolonia. Have just googled it and it look s fabulous. Thanks for the post and I have made a note so next time in Spain will definitely head that way.

When were there we went up the old road in hills and the vultures were nesting
