Bloody Fridge, again

This time It's a nasty acrid/chemical smell coming from back of fridge.

The flame is blue, there is no smoke coming from exterior vent but this stained black.

There is a CO2 alarm in van which does not sound unless I hold it over exterior vent.

The burner assembly has recently been cleaned & fridge is working well but the smell worries me.

Anyone out there have any ideas on this?

If its an ammonia type smell it could be your coolant leaking. Check what pipework you can see for discolouration and or leaks. on saying that the fridge would not be operating efficiently if loosing coolant.

I had a leak on mine last year resulting in a new 3 way fridge - very expensive. I hope this is not the problem for you.

The burner assembly has been cleaned but did you clean the flue? smells very much like a choked flue, easy but dirty job.

Think I’d be getting a professional to look at it incase you get not well while driving or sleeping

my fridge lost its gas at 3. 1/2 years old .new fridge fitted .
