Black Friday Lithium

£169 now. £20 more than merl's original offer!
I clicked the £20 discount box but the price didn't reduce. I won't click the buy it now in case it icosts £169. I'm not desperate for one.

You could temporarily change your payment details to a non existent card number and then go through the ordering and discount process and see what happens. That way you can't end up paying full price.

I've opted to go for a Renogy 2000W PSW inverter at £176 first. I have until tomorrow to think about a lithium battery. Then I will have to scour the posts about 'will my 200W panel and Epever MPPT regulator charge a 100AH lithium?" I don't know if the Epever will charge a lithium, and I haven't seen a setting for that in its instructions. I don't know if I want to add the cost of a new regulator to the exercise, just so I can make toast in a toaster instead of in the Ridge Monkey. :unsure:

So yep your panel will be fine for a lithium battery 👍
My solar controller doesn't strictly have a lithium profile either but if the bulk and float voltages can be manually adjusted like mine then that's perfectly acceptable.

@gasgas
Yep the Epever will work.
Use manual settings for the voltages, most importantly though is to turn off temperature compensation!
