I have, for a few years been using Thetford liquid in the loo. I bought a pallet load for next to nothing at a demised caravan dealer sale.

Last year my supply ran out & being too tight to pay the going rate, I decided to try bio tablets. Couldn't find any in Lidl so got some from Tesco.

Very impressed by the lack of pong & after a year decided to take a peek inside the cassette, total surprise!, could hardly believe it, all the crud, crust & scale has disappeared & the inside looks like new so I stick my phone down the hole to take a piccy

I take it you mean the hole in the cassette just to clear things up.:scared:

How many tablets do you use per cassette load please?

Looking to drop Thetford Blue for more eco friendly stuff.
Their green isn't that good for me.

this thread is about using cheaper and hopefully green biological washing liquid in your cassette instead of the really expensive "caravan" products... I also have used bio washing liquid...(a cap full is sufficient) and even the one camp site I used in Eire which was fiercely ecologically green and who insisted on inspecting my toilet additive - they said it was ok..... saves a lot of money and the smell is beautiful

Hope this doesn't start one of those "show us yours" threads...

Tesco Bio tablets, comes in a box of 48 detergent tablets, in sachets of 2 tablets, 24 doses.

Thanks,I'll try them...not sure about photos of the results! Although my phone is on pay as you go!..
