Bike rack or Box..or both?

I'm torn between fitting a bike rack or a box on the back of my van. I'm considering folding bikes but box is necessary for my smelly fishing tackle...any ideas please? I also want a tow-bar to tow a sailing dinghy, that shouldn't be a problem I think.

a friend of mine had no back doors, so he fitted a permanent box to the rear and attched three of Halfords | Halfords Value Roof Mount Cycle Carrier these to the top.

the box kept all the muddy smelly dirty things, but its whether you want something big and bulky permanently fixed or not.

I used to use a fiamma bike rack on my T4 and mount a Thule backup box when I needed extra space. Either that or a jet box on the roof. or sometimes both...
