We want to fit a a satalite tv system to our van. What make would members recommend and any
Good company to fit it? We live in Warwickshire. Advice please. Many thanks in advance.

Are you gona use it abroad. If not the snipe system works well and in northern France if you want to use further southin France and Spain you need an oyster with a large dish. Just depends on where you're going to be using it and what you want to watch

I used Jacksons from Wakefield when I had an Oyster Karo fitted to my c class. They are experts in the field and you can either have a system fitted in Wakefield or they will fit at your home. It was a top class job and the satellite system never failed to lock on the satellite.
As I have no intention of going into Europe I decided to buy a Snipe satellite for the pvc I bought last year. I only take it with me when I know I will be travelling to an area where digital reception is poor / not available. The Snipe can be roof mounted and comes with the mounting plate etc if you decide to to permanently roof mount it.
A bonus is the Snipe was only a third of the cost of the Oyster system and to date has always found the satellite.

Try Roadpro in Daventry, found them helpful when I had a Camos on my previous MH, as said ,the further south you go ,the bigger the dish. The Camos will be as much use as a shirt on a wheelbarrow if lower than Northern France.

manual

Can't help with a fitter but I fitted a Maxview Manual system with 85 cm dish 6 yrs ago and have never regretted it no problems with system updates and can find a satellite within 60 secs most times..Can get all astra channels as far south as Toulouse and a lot as far south as the Algarve Easterly most at Lake Garda

Second that for the crank up ,quicker to find the signal than my previous glomex ,and an easy diy fit as well

If you are going to use it abroad, Snipe Pro Max (not the standard Snipe shown in the link on the next line).
