Apparently they are charging for roaming from January 2023.I got a Tesco contract recently. £17.50 a month, unlimited data, no roaming restriction and can use my phone as a hotspot - haven't fully tested it out in the wild as yet, but seemed to get a decent connection on a short trip to the Netherlands/Belgium. More expensive than the Smarty sim, and it's a 2 year contract, plus I've heard that 3 coverage is better than O2, but it suits me.
That system sounds good especially with EU roaming included. I wonder, for how long?Rates & Plans | RWG Mobile

Bugger.
I was planning to ditch 3 when my contract expires and move to Tesco.
No roaming charges, but there is a 25GB data roaming limit.O2 are still advertising no roaming charges. Ordered a 20gb sim £8 month 12 mth contract. Giff gaff will be ditched end July!
Still better than 5gb limit. We will never get back what was lost when we left EU but I can work with the O2 limit as we buy a Portuguese sim when staying there, it is for travelling there and back.No roaming charges, but there is a 25GB data roaming limit.
