Hi
We intend to travel to Greece, maybe Turkey via Germany, Slovenia, Serbia, Albania, possibly Hungary and Bulgaria. maybe Croatia.
Could anyone advise if there is a one off Travel Sim to cope with all these countries or am I better off downloading Esims for each?
Thanks.

Thanks for the 2 replies. I should have saiid that I live in France so Tesco not an option.
I do have a U.K. Three sim and a U.K. Lebara but they are somewhat limited in roaming mobile.
I also have a Reglo mobile 100gb sim but that only allows 19gb roaming a month so again a little limiting.

This might be good if one travels a lot!!

Again I also have an Orange.fr sim but only gives me 10gb when roaming away from France.
In Spain I usually buy a 15€ 260gb eSIM from eSIM holidays which is great value but am having difficulty finding the same value elsewhere.
I don’t want get stung for £100 in Albania like I did last time for just a couple of minutes internet!!

I asked Chat GPT the same question as in the OP

I'd suggest replying something like this:

For that route, I wouldn't bother with separate eSIMs for each country.

Germany, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Bulgaria and Greece are all in the EU, so one EU roaming SIM or eSIM will cover them.

The only countries on your route that usually need something different are Serbia and Turkey (both outside the EU), and Albania is also outside the EU so it's often excluded from EU roaming plans.

The simplest options are:

  • Airalo, Nomad, MobiMatter, or Saily all sell regional Europe eSIMs that cover most of Europe, with optional coverage for some non-EU countries.
  • If your phone supports it, keep one Europe eSIM for the EU countries and buy a short-term Serbia/Turkey eSIM only when you arrive there. It takes just a couple of minutes to install.
  • If you're using a French mobile network, it's also worth checking whether your existing plan already includes Serbia, Albania or Turkey—you may be pleasantly surprised.
I wouldn't buy individual eSIMs for every country unless you're staying in each one for a long time.

That's probably the cheapest and least hassle. The only caveat is that Turkey almost always needs its own eSIM, while Serbia and Albania vary depending on the provider.

No I have checked. It covers them all. It’s pretty much a global sim.

I think that is just an add on service really which work in conjunction with your main sim.
It wouldn’t give me the full on internet service that I am looking for.
As you live in France, is there a French motorhome forum? They will have more ideas than us perhaps.
I doubt it very much!!!😂😂
My question isn’t particularly French based.
I much prefer to stick with the very helpful guys on here.
Thanks though.
