Best Data SIM for Travel In UK

Can anyone advise me on the best (micro) SIM for data. I am coming to the UK at the bginning of October for 3-4 weeks and I want a data only SIM. My (rough) route will be Folkestone - Durham - Edinburgh - Inverness - Cumbria - Gloucester - Devon - Plymouth. Don't want to tie into a contract as I only come back 2 or 3 times a year. Seems like its GiffGaff, O2, or 3 but any thoughts gratefully received.

I use GiffGaff its £10 a month for calling credit and then £10 on a goody bag, but that goody bag gives you unlimited data download, perfect to use your phone as a hotspot tether etc.

I Use a pre paid data sim on my iPad bought from eBay. This one cost me £38 for 12 months with 12gb. I have never run out, when my last one expired I still had 7gb unused on it. Never found better value, no contract, nothing. This is on the 3 network and we have used it all over the country from Cornwall to Scotland. My hubby uses one too, never let us down.

I also use the 3 network and have found them to be good value and excellent coverage. Some black spots in North Cornwall but that probably applies to all the networks. I have also bought their SIM's on eBay which is more cost effective than a 3 store.

I've recently got an Ovivo sim. Just £5 and you get free data each month. Need to specify what size sim when ordering.

i use same system .would love to know where you got your sim from as i havnt seen one so cheap
