What is it with people in cars or van's who drive past in the dark and have to beep, in the UK its maybe once or twice on each trip if that, but here it's a sport, every night if we're wild camping there will be at least two, or even more some nights.

What is the point in it, I expect it so it doesn't bother me, Liz wears ear plugs and is pretty deaf anyway (but denies it) so all it does is make me question their sanity.

I think if you are close to a road it's always going to happen. I hate road noise so will never park close to a road, always get off the beaten track.
