In Wuhan the WHO report said the over 80 death rate was 14%. In Wuhan the health services were overwhelmed for a while. I think the over 80 death rate depends very much on how overwhelmed the health services get.
 
There are a few glaring holes in the above argument, argoose.
The biggie is what is the advantage of putting the entire global economy into meltdown just to get rid of people over seventy? Any idea? I don't.

Something that specifically wipes out just old people? Doesn't add up.

I prefer this as a counter argument to the conspiracy theory :)

I thought the same. Said it wasn't a conspiracy theory, but went on about hidden agendas. But where he was saying that flu has a higher death rate and harder to contract makes sense.
I have asked lots of people how many they know have corvus and no one knows anyone. But we're I work, five are down due to someone coughing in their family. But I live rural so I think geography is going to play a big part it this situation.
 
Yes, we’re rural too, but it’s already in our village. Went to garage in Sheffield yesterday, half the staff already off self isolating, they were taking it seriously spraying and scrubbing reception areas, handing out gloves to every customer as they check in. Sanitising keys when handed back...it’s not life as we know it Jim!

I wouldn't get too excited just yet.
Would be a miracle if it is a valid treatment, but stranger things have happened at sea, so let's be hopeful.
