Beadnell bay

About time we all went back to Druridge Bay Trixie.
oohhh yes.....i was going to mention druridge bay country park...absolutely brilliant location
much preferred it when the meet was down by the lake tho.......
.seemed to be more of a community somehow ....and more open..
and could see more of what was going on over at the community hub. etc.
hoping to get to the meet there again this year...fingers crossed .

canna beat the northumbrian coast......that is apart from Smiley Filey on n.yorks coast.
when we first got the van...we did the northumberland coast....had a brilliant time....
think we went up almost to the boarders of scotland......
stayed the night at one place(cnt remember which one) and they were filming a tv episode of VERA
bever watched the programme ..so didnt know who VERA was. at the time....
.twas the episode where a caravan was blown up (dont think it was actually blown up on site)
all very interesting....

We spent 2 nights on Beadnel Bay CCC site last year sitting out a storm. Nice open pitch away from trees. The sport was guessing which tent would get flattened next. Only 1 tent remained standing after the storm and a couple went flying over the hedge heading towards the sea.

On the windy day we turned round on the walk to the beach when we turned the last corner. The sand blowing off the beach was like walking into a sand blasting machine.

That’s where we’re staying for the next two weeks, but will be travelling out in our Transporter.
