Nothing it will work ok,it is best for balance both same, but safe and sound, use a proper battery cable.
Just wire as below with third batt in line up,pos from first neg from last.
Instinctively I'd aim for matched batteries in a bank - same afe and type would seem to be 'obvious' for good charging and power delivery.
Arguably the limiting factor in winter will be solar capacity to charge batteries so adding an extra one may not help?
What's meant by 'lying around'?
If you're moving every couple of days the alternator should refresh the existing bank ok.
The one "laying around" is one ive just taken off the van. Nothing wrong with it ,holds its charge. Just needed more power.
Its going to be a winter trip so all I'm asking is if I add the 145 to 2x 120s How will it perform
I know they won't charge up much solar wise.
Connect it up and strap down, remember a vent, dont leave a lose battery in boot as it could fly in a crash or just shift and short causing a fire, safe practice first, good luck.
