Battery Charger Problem

Hi All

Went to my M/H yesterday (storage) to change a light. I have not used the van for a few weeks, (Bessacarr)
It was getting a bit dark so plugged her into mains went to switch charger on. (it has switch for charger and heater that light up,
neither would ? All other things work ok. checked all fuses & breakers on it, there ok.
When you turn switch on you can hear it but wont power up?
Any idea's out there please.
 
Probably not the problem but if the battery is dead flat, some chargers won't fire up. Need to connect a cheap charger for a while to raise the battery voltage enough for the charger to recognise it.
 
Hi Tony thanks for reply, the control panel is showing 11.9v & the heater switch combined light wont come on.
I ran the engine for a while & got the batteries up to 12.3v with no luck.
