Motorhomes in England face strict new ban and it will last 'for 18 months'

Motorhomes will be banned from overnight parking at certain locations in Scarborough, Whitby, and Cayton as part of a trial scheme which could be expanded.

By the time the entitled Covid Campers have given it up and gone back to Benidorm, some of these spots will have been lost for good.

Typical, keep blaming the new guys. This was happening a long time before Covid struck. The car park by the marina was always rammed and looking like a camp site. AND, motorhomers dodging through the gate to the marina to use the facilities, that are paid for by the boat owners. It really is disingenuous to blame those new to the game!

I've been through there quite a lot this year and it comes as no surprise, Most of the time this year it has been ridiculous. Far worse than in past years. Maybe councils should start looking at max stay 48hrs no return within 5 days and a limited # of MH only designated bays. Sandsend has been the same.
