I doubt if it’s much nicer Dave, maybe nicer.If you travel a few miles further up, to Clachan sands, its a much nicer (in my opinion!) sandy beach - extends to around 2 miles in each direction.
Park on the dunes, and there is a honesty box. Grid Ref 872768..
Pic below shows our van, the beach extends the same distance in the other direction as well.

I prefer to parked on grass than hard standing.What a park up a beach more than a mile long and we are alone. Last two hundred yard on a potholed track worth it. And to boot good 4G WiFi and even a tv reception.

We will be doing both east and west beaches on Beneray on Friday before getting the ferry to Leverborough.
But we love where we are right now, but next time Clachan will be on the list.
You could spend three months here no bother.
Theres been a lot of rain here grass could be dodgy.
