B cels

My darling wife had her AZ jab on Friday with no affects but has a sore arm and a dose of the trots last night. I'm not sure whether that's the after affect or the special herbs I put on her dinner last night.
I think it’s a jab after effect as it was not something I was going to admit to but yes I had a small bout of that this week.

How you feeling today?
Just still have real bad joint pain in one hip and both knees but they have always been my RA weak points other than that no lasting side effects but in my head it shows that the vaccine is doing what it’s supposed to do is get my protective cells to boost and protect me from an invader unfortunately those are the cells that damage my joints which is why they delayed my Retuximab so they aren’t fighting against each other one depleting one boosting but as I have said having the jab is still a no brainer.

I'm feeling slightly nervous now.
marie..had my jab 3 weeks ago.....touch wood no effect whatsoever.........

however......just had bcg immunotheraphy this morning and am very anxious incase it may have some effect on the treatment........
.
as my dear dad would have said....you pays your money and you take your chance.......

consultantant says it was important to get jab..even if it meant delaying treatment for a bit..
...
having said that..... ..i dont think even the proffessional know for sure.......

I think that statement is correct as some of the questions i have asked the Rheumatologist nurses before having my jab were answered with this is what we think but we are still learning but on saying that questions that they could answer based on what they did know did put my fears to bed. 👍

Hi Marie. Had my jab on Saturday, no props at all. My rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia gives me extreme pain most days but it has not worsened by having it
Hi Mr Bear that’s brilliant that your not having side effects I don’t think it is going to effect everyone I think it depends on meds you take and when you take them can i be cheeky and ask what your RA meds are and I understand completely if you don’t want to say I am currently on my 5th different type of meds in 20 years and this is the only one where I have had lasting relief, I am also not blaming all my currant pain on the jab it is also due to my infusion being delayed but delayed for a good reason.

i was sitting on the fence re. having jab...........august since i last had any treatment......had jabs been rolled out at start of that time.....and because i am shielding and on my own etc.....i probably would have held off till more was known...as i really am extremely anxious that it does not interfere or upset the treatment..... etc.

however after having a break from treatment for past 6 months......and hosp. appts all starting to come in agaiin.....and the prospects that another operation would be on the cards if treatment fails etc.........ii started feeling a bit jittery re. not having jab... ...... then recieved a phone call about 3 weeks ago ....to go for a jab.....so that did ted it for me consultant said imprtant to have it....and by coincidence within next week had phone call to go for jab......so that i did.....

still very anxious as if it does interfere with treatment.....or treatment stops working etc.........then things wont be looking good.........at the same time this virus is real l
it would seem that different health authorities...have different views and advice.....re time needed between jab and treatment etc. ie. BCG immunotheraphy treatment just wish they would all sing from the sam hymn sheet......doesnt give me much faith when folk are getting conflicting advicd....good luck

That's definitely one of the more unpleasant side effects of the virus......on the plus side it shows the vaccine is working.
[/QUO
hope you are feeling a bit better sue having this covid is not pleasant for you......

i had no side effects so does that mean vaccine isnt working....ooohhh
take care keep warm and plenty of rest you have a lot to cope with....

Trixie, some people don't have any side effects.

Definitely doesn't mean it's not working!

Count your blessings that you haven't got any and stop all that pointless worrying ;) 😘
