Avoid Llangollen this week

From 3rd to 8th July Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod Ticket Information
They reckon 50,000 visitors we stayed at the sun Trevor pub Saturday night and passed 2 fields filling up with campers on the way in also on Sunday we passed the abbey farm and Britannia hotel both full it's going to be very busy

Was last there in 1975 , been avoiding it ever since

Llandudno was last weekend armed forces day that's why we went Llangollen to avoid it

We were at a C&CC temp. holiday site at Abergele last weekend & went into Llandudno for the armed forces day. As usual great display by the Red Arrows, also lots to see & do for the grandkids on the event field. We live about 10 miles from Llangollen & never been to the eisteddfod. The C&CC have a temp. holiday site on for the week, nice walk along the canal to Llangollen.

The two fields (one each side of road) on the way in to Llangollen are virtually constant rally fields used by every club. At the moment both are C&CC temporary holiday sites.
