Does anyone know if those parking areas along the coast road near here are still available or has D&G Council been planting more signs?
 
much nicer to carry on down to the st medan golf club (below Monreith) - great beach yards from your door, and much quieter.

Thanks for that. We were going the other way, but we are at St Medan now. A grand spot, I’ve added a review to the WC App. Pity it’s raining. But a nice spot to watch the sea in peace.

A nice walk is around the beach to the old chapel (steps up from beach). Also an easy walk to Monreith along the cliff path.
Also, keep an eye out for the dolphins.
