At last

Interesting listening to the radio last night in that apparently running on lng alone only saves a max 10% emissions over running on diesel. Hardly worth the extra cost and delay IMHO. Those trying to find excuses say that the Sannox is bigger than the ship it replaces

Went on the new ferry last Saturday. All very quiet and swish with an amazing forward observation lounge that could be fun in severe weather! The problem is it has to berth at Troon. If you are on foot its a long way to anywhere - a mile and a half to the train station, maybe a mile to the nearest supermarket, and all very exposed when walking. Although much bigger than the Caledonian Isle it replaces, it carries no more people, and seemed to take ages to berth back at Brodick. Just what the Island didn't need!
