Can I ask, why take them off when you get back if you are regular visitors/travellers through France?

Did you see in the link posted that you can also get vinyl ones, these would not leave glue residue.

Think if I needed them I would just leave them on forever, it would be me got the fine lol
 
I have magnetic ones for the front which I remove but the rear one is self adhesive and that stays on.

One issue with leaving them on Neil, when the time comes you want to remove them, let’s say to sell MH, there will be a difference where the sticker has been applied and left for a few year with MH paintwork, basically the UV doing it’s job on the paintwork. End up looking like a chess board.

Magnetic type no good, all panels are alloy. I may look at the vinyl ones for next trip. Overall though, I think these signs are a complete waste of time on the average motorhome, fair enough fit to a Concorde and Morello, where I have both of these latter marques parked on Aires with no Angle Morts signs to be seen.

I have magnetic ones too, all 3 to use on the PVC, though for the approx 30 mins each way we're in France it's the ideal way.

The link is interesting, a single angle mort sticker is €9.90, so nearly €30 for a set, but then this is one of those sites that will sell a €5 Crit air sticker for a minimum of €32 !

I have always pursued the policy of following the relevant laws and regulations when travelling abroad.

So the Angles Mort stickers are applied, the Crit Air sticker is in the correct position on the inside of the windscreen, and headlamp beam masks stuck in place.

I believe that I always adhere to the speed limits too, other than the very rare occasion when distracted or forgetful.

There is no point in giving a police officer any cause to stop me. It is difficult to plead mitigating circumstances in a foreign language...

Got ours at a motorway service Station in southern France for E14.50 the set . Thought that was expensive for what they are and expect the sun to fade them in a year. My crit aire is almost unreadable, even close up so a Bobby or a camera has no chance.
 
Prices start at ÂŁ9 a set of three bus ones self adhesive ones on Ebay UK. Not a picture of a MH but that wouldn't matter....

A Cathargo Liner deluxe model German plate and near enough the size of a single deck bus, next to the bus, Dutch reg Adria Sonic 810 tag axle, both have no sticker attached. I think it fair to say the gendarme are not interested pulling over innocent MH owners because no sticker on view.

Anyone know if anyone pulled over in France for having no angle morts signs on view?

This is because they don't despise all cyclists as is the case in UK, egged on by certain red top rags.

Cycled 25 klicks yesterday, all the way and back on cycle route, this I am unable to do back home, or feel safe.

Fair to say though, lots of available land at hand, and city/town streets to re jig roads to incorporate cycle routes.

The point of these stickers is that they tell other road users about blind spots. That makes some sense.

However, on a RHD vehicle the blind spots are on the other sides, so the stickers are warning about the wrong place.

I'm in the camp where I'd rather not give les flics any more ammo if they did have to stop me for any reason, so I prefer to have them on. It's no real biggie to have them on I think and it's their country and their rules so that's fine for me.

I’ll leave it to my missus to argue the toss, if stopped by the Grndarme, she will be driving in her own country…sorted!!

Probably right though chances of getting done are pretty negligible
Mind you I got fined €40 in Spain for not having GB sticker

Wow that IS unlucky!

I never used one until we came out of the EU but now have one using the same logic as I do for the angles mort stickers.
