Android Forum App

Well done Phil!
Now that the festive holidays are over I can't get onto the forum much anymore, but that has improved now with this app :)
It works a treat on my phone

Phil,

Galaxy SII I've opened the app 5 times now and on each occasion it's locked up within 30seconds of launch showing the following msg

Sorry
The application Wild Camping (process com.vbulletin.build_379) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again
Force close Report

I reported it

Hi Phil

After much deliberation I've just bought an Android tablet and have installed WC app on it. It seems to be working great but just a couple of minor issues so some feedback for you:

Like Lorryball, I can only see 10 posts. I've not found a way of changing this - is it hidden somewhere in settings?

Although it is showing new notifications, there doesn't seem to be a way of seeing what these new notifications are so am having to log in to the main site to see them.

Just minor things but perhaps could be addressed in an update at some point. Otherwise it is great, as without the app, accessing the forum on my android phone was impossible and although it would be easier to do that on the new tablet, the app will mean using much less data when not using wifi at home.

Thanks. WVW

Like Sparrks I seem to have difficulty in getting very far with my Samsung Galaxy,

Hi,

the app is produced by vbulletin for me (i just customised it) they are currently working on a new release.

I know you can only see the ten latest posts on the home screen but you can go into the forums and see all the new posts in each forum

difficulties

Hi
This app looks good and downloaded fine but it crashes all the time especially with the posts with more responses. It is also not showing older posts.
I have been on it every day since getting it and sadly had it crash every single time.

The developers are aware of issues with the android app and they are currently working on an update to solve them.

Unfortunatley I have no control over the releases.
