Hi all,
I'm Celt from Wilts(friend of Druidofthehill)i didn't know she'd also just joined, but great minds think alike lol

My partner and i have recently got our first camper,it's a ford transit hi-top lwb and we hope to spend some time out and about in it soon....i'm currently knackered with a back injury,so it may be some time until we actually get out and about (can't climb into the van atm )but enjoying reading the forum!

Hi Celt and :welcome: to the site. Hope you back gets better real soon.

Hi Celt and welcome:wave:

I have a question for you: Been thinking of a trip to Wiltshire the Devizes, Upavon area for a few days, sort of reminiscing old friends who lived there 30 odd years ago !! I can't remember much about the place other than tank tracks across nice landscapes. Do you know of any secluded little places to park up up? local knowledge is always helpful

Thanks for the welcome guys :)
John,if you take a left turn at the garage before you get into Devizes(coming from Avebury direction)there's a fairly quiet road next to what was the old army base(last time i was there, anyway)there was an area you could pull in,should be ok there for the night....or you can definitely park for the night at the Sanctuary(near Avebury)find the sanctuary on the map and the parking is on the other side of the road.Hope this helps.
