Looks a very nice classic with great potential, wouldn’t fancy replacing the hab door if damaged 😬

Dare I say I actually quite like that, wouldn’t buy it though, a bit like classic cars you have to be prepared to put the constant effort into them, but that’s just me...
nice family fun business by the looks of it with 100% positive feedback out of the 276 transactions this year too.

That has character...just 110K on the clock has to be wrong! I wouldn't like trying to find spare parts for that though...

Just thinking about it, I'm 52 now. I was still in secondary school when that thing was built!

Sure you'd get any part you'd ever need from Morocco :D , the place is full of old T.
Most parts would still be available in Germany though, if not direct from Mercedes. I'm guessing that's on a 309D base, which weren't available in UK.

Yes nice wagon.

Wouldn't mind it for a week or 2 then give it back. :)

When built they were built to a quality and top end price in it's day - monoque constructed so unlikely to need major damp repairs - old mercedes lump built to go around the clock - even had porcelain toilet - certainly not fast and minimal electronics to go wrong - and for 10k i'd certainly look at it compared to what else is out there for that sort of money

I like it,does anyone know if its a platform chassis. At the moment im looking at pre 83 A class ,Ive got a few years left in my 93 Tabbert but the lure of the old stuff has got me looking usually on Mobile de.Its definitely the way to go,my mind is made up.
