I'm thinking of getting rid of my Fiamma 360 box for a bigger Ali one.
My question is what weight is the maximum for a 2 bike rack prior to any weight loaded?

Have you been to a weigh bridge lately and checked the weight on the back axle. The further the weight is from the axle the heavier it gets as it transfers weight from the front axle. You also have to consider the design of the back wall. It’s not so much how much the rack will hold but how much the wall will take. You are putting an auful lot of strain on a few bits of wood.
